Dance with me

Dance With Me is a disco and 80s inspired poster for a disco party that is happening. The theme and requirements for the poster was for it to specifically feature and showcases everyday objects and use them as the main focus of the poster. I believe that texture and color is very significant and important when creating a piece of art and I specifically wanted to create a background of the materials that make up the object i.e, the CDs and the reflectiveness of them, the disco ball and the reflective squares that makes up it, and the balloon and different balloon material and balloons. My aim with the type was to specifically separate the object from the background and I had found a type face that reminded me of the 80s and used that in extremely large text to create the layers.
